RETURNS

At Agapé Jewellery, we want our clients to love their Jewellery! Please read below for more information on returns, exchanges and refunds.

Jewellery Purchased In Store
We offer an exchange or store credit for new, unworn items or gifts bought in store that are returned within 14 days of purchase and meet our conditions of return.

Jewellery Purchased Online
As online clients are unable to try a piece on before purchasing, we understand that products purchased online may differ from your expectations. Therefore, we are happy to offer an exchange, store credit or a refund on new, unworn items returned within 14 days of receipt that meet our conditions of return.

Conditions of Return
All returns are subject to inspection on their return to make sure the following conditions have been met:
- Items must be returned in new and unworn condition.
- The jewellery must not have been altered by another jeweller or third party. 
- Items must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging with all appropriate paperwork and accompanying materials.
- Proof of purchase must be provided in the form of your receipt/ invoice/ order number. 
- Agapé Jewellers must be contacted prior to any returns and items must be returned within 14 days or receipt

Return Exclusions
Bespoke, Custom Items & Special Orders
Due to the nature of these items being ordered or made to meet your specifications, we are unable to offer a return, exchange or refund for bespoke, custom or special order pieces.
Pieces that are customised or special ordered whether purchased online or in store - this includes engraved items. However, if you are not happy with the final outcome of a bespoke or custom piece, please contact us to look at options.

Sale Products
In the rare event of a sale, all sales will be final and returns won't be accepted in that instance, so please ensure you choose carefully.

Manufacturing Defects & Faults
For any piece purchased in store or online that has a manufacturing defect or fault we will unreservedly meet our obligations under the consumer guarantees act by offering a repair or exchange. In the event that a repair or exchange is not available, we will offer a refund. Please return your piece in store or send us photos for further advice. 

How To Make a Return

Items can be returned in store or via courier. Please contact us at hello@agapejewellers.co.nz with your name, contact information, order number/ date of purchase and reason for return prior to returning your item.

Returns postage and insurance is at your own expense. However, we strongly advise you to choose Track & Trace, Signature Required shipping through a courier. We also recommend wrapping jewellery and packaging securely in protective packaging. Please note that Agapé Jewellers are not liable for loss or damage of returned goods.

Receiving a Store Credits & Refunds
- Returns will be processed within 5 business days of receipt to Agapé Jewellers.
- Exchange products will be shipped once a return has been approved. If the exchange item is not currently in stock, we will order and let you know ETAs.
- Store Credits are valid for 24 months from issue.
- Refunds – All approved refunds will be issued via the original method of payment method used for the purchase. In the event that the purchase was paid via cash, we will refund to your nominated bank account. Please allow 2-4 business days for a refund to process once approved.
